Hi, friend! I am the creative force behind Bowtie & Brush. As the sole owner and artist, I add my unique blend of talent, energy, and expertise to every project. With a background in signage and stationery design, as well as proficiency in live calligraphy and watercolor guest portraits, I infuse each creative piece with a touch of elegance and charm, aka that final bowtie touch!
Most of the art I make is made with my own two hands, usually with a brush pen or a paint brush. My couples and their guests get to witness that when they take a closer look at my signs and realize it's not vinyl or printed —obviously, not including some stationery and rental services that I offer. There are imperfections. You can see the brush strokes and unevenness in the texture. What you see is the work of someone who loves creating truly one of a kind intimate details that are unique to YOUR love story. No one else in the world will have that piece of art.
So if you're a person who finds beauty in the imperfections, we'll get along just fine. I am not a font. I am not a printer. I am a modern calligrapher and watercolor artist who has worked countless hours to develop my own style—and I just want to create more art in this world for all the lovely people who resonate with that.
